Историческая справка

История «Варштайнер» – это летопись девяти поколений семьи Крамер, которая началась в 1753 году с уплаты главой клана штрафа за превышение лимита приготовления пива для личного потребления. Семейный бизнес неизменно возглавляли сыновья. В 1774 году была отстроена каменная пивоварня, которую спустя 28 лет уничтожил крупный пожар. В конце 19 столетия пивоваренный завод оснастили паровым двигателем, после чего годовая производительность возросла до 3 тысяч гектолитров. Одним из ключевых событий стало открытие в 1927 году источника мягкой воды Kaiserquelle, которую используют в технологическом процессе и сегодня.

В 1960 завод произвел 100 тысяч гектолитров хмельного напитка и вошел в число крупнейших пивоваренных компаний Германии. Через 16 лет производственные мощности переместили на южную окраину города, а в 1978 году объем напитков впервые превысил миллион гектолитров. С начала 80-х пиво «Варштайнер» поставляют на экспорт, а компания приобрела доли пивоварен в Аргентине и ряде африканских государств.
